This policy explains what personal data Amyra Farms collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. What we collect
- Contact & delivery details — your name, email, phone number and shipping address.
- Order information — what you bought, order history and subscription preferences.
- Communication preferences — whether you have opted in to marketing email or WhatsApp.
- Usage data — basic analytics about how you use the site (see Cookies below).
- Payment data — handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card or UPI credentials.
2. How we use it
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders and subscriptions.
- To send transactional updates — confirmation, shipping and delivery notifications.
- To provide customer support and respond to your queries.
- To send marketing communications only where you have opted in; you can unsubscribe any time.
- To improve our products, site and service, and to meet legal/tax obligations.
3. Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site usage in aggregate (pages viewed, purchases). This relies on cookies/identifiers. You can block cookies in your browser or use browser/Google opt-outs; the site will still work.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Delhivery / DHL and other couriers — delivery.
- Resend (email) and MSG91 (SMS/WhatsApp) — notifications.
- Supabase / Vercel — secure hosting and database.
- Authorities, where required by law.
We never sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires (typically several years for GST/accounting). Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for marketing. To exercise any of these, email farm@amyrafarms.in and we will respond within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and row-level database security — to protect your data. No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe and act quickly on any issue.
8. Children
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, contact us and we will remove it.
